In July 2011, Manchester Unity Health Fund was merged with HCF Health
Fund. Manchester Unity is now deregistered as a health fund and no longer
offers private health insurance. This was the final stage of the integration
of Manchester Unity into HCF, following the merger of Manchester Unity and HCF in 2008.
Manchester Unity today provides retirement lifestyles and aged care services
to over 400 residents. Manchester Unity remains a subsidiary of HCF, the largest
not-for-profit health fund in Australia. Opening our first retirement village in
1949 at North Parramatta, we have over 60 years experience in caring for those over 55.
Manchester Unity retirement apartment facilities provide residents with the
very best in community facilities, modern accommodation and excellence in care.
We own and manage three retirement villages in Sydney, located in Hunters Hill,
North Parramatta and Westmead.
Aged Care Services
Manchester Unity owns and manages five aged care facilities in NSW, located
in Sydney’s west at North Parramatta. We offer the best in low care, high care,
extra services and dementia care accommodation to suit the individuals’ needs.
Our Ageing-in-Place philosophy enables residents, where possible, to remain in
their accommodation and receive the care that they may require as they get older,
without the need to relocate.
