Manchester Unity's private health insurance business merged into HCF on 30 June 2011.
The merger follows approval from the Private Health Insurance Administrative Council (PHIAC) under section 146-5
of the Private Health Insurance Act 2007.

Manchester Unity health insurance members were automatically transferred into the HCF health fund.
